Pixel Art Editor

Draw sprites right in your browser. Pencil, eraser, flood fill and eyedropper, a custom palette, grid and zoom controls, undo/redo, and one-click PNG export. Nothing uploads — it all runs on your device.

Tip: hold and drag to paint. Use Pick to grab a color already on the canvas. Keyboard: B pencil · E eraser · G fill · I pick · Ctrl+Z undo.

How to use the Pixel Art Editor

  1. Pick a canvas size (8×8 up to 64×64) — smaller grids are classic for icons and sprites.
  2. Choose a color with the color picker, or click a palette swatch. Hit + Add to palette to save the current color.
  3. Use the Pencil to draw, Fill to flood an area, Eraser to clear pixels, and Pick to sample a color from the canvas.
  4. Toggle the grid and adjust zoom for comfort. Made a mistake? Undo with the button or Ctrl+Z.
  5. Set an export scale and click Download PNG — you get a crisp, nearest-neighbor image ready for your game.

Frequently asked

Does my art upload anywhere? No. The editor is 100% client-side — your drawing never leaves your browser.

What size should I export? Export at ×8 or higher so the pixels stay crisp when viewed on modern high-DPI screens.
